Yea, my new '02 Savage is a five speed and there's little change when you hit that last gear. Why the hell Suzuki didn't widen the ratio a bit more beats me. The 40 cube engine would still pull on the flat and have less piston travel per mile with a better high gear. Heavy wind or a steep hill, ya have to drop one back anyway.
